Upon arrival in this charming town, you will start to visit some of themost important sights of this medieval city: The Pozzo di San Patrizio (English: “St. Patrick’s Well”), built by architect-engineer Antonio da Sangallo the Younger of Florence, between 1527 and 1537, at the behest of Pope Clement VII , 53.15 metres (174.4 ft) deep; The Albornoz fortress and Orvieto Cathedral ) is a magnificent gothic 14th-century Roman Catholic cathedral dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary .
Before the lunch break with a taste of the typical Umbrian flavours you will be given sime spare time to do some shopping in the local ceramic shops.
The next stop on the itinerary will certainly leave you speechless. The sight of the tiny village of Civita di Bagnoregio, perched on a hill top and overlooking a lush valley, looks like something taken straight out of a fairytale. As you cross the footbridge to visit the village, it will feel as if you are travelling back through time. This is a truly unique experience so make sure to make the most of your visit before it is time to say farewell and commence your journey back to the Eternal City.
